Open Letter to a Great Team!
Dear Vision TRE 2010 Brazil Team-
Thank you for all of your hard work
and dedication, it got us through a hard year. While clients were
cutting back on consultants and down sizing, your quality of service made Vision
TRE a value proposition that they kept and are continuing to value.
Over the years you and your
predecessors have always stepped up to new challenges and learned new
technologies that kept Vision TRE competitive. We have gone from simply
Crystal Reports development in 2004 to also being trusted with supporting ETL,
data integration, reporting and more with tools like Oracle, Informatica, and even Teradata database.
Supporting BI Marketing and Financial
reporting is not the easiest type of development. There is often an
evolving scope as the users discover new capabilities and unforeseen
competitive requirements. Sometimes development teams have little to do while users make
plans and strategic decision, and other times deadlines are compressed by
uncontrollable market driven events, or time sensitive market opportunities.
Unlike some types of development, mistakes in a marketing campaign or promotion
can't easily be corrected if it reaches production and is always highly visible,
so the quality assurance and careful focus you use is critical.
I am really looking forward to 2010 and glad
to have each of you helping me continue to build a great Vision TRE reputation
for Brazilian Nearshore IT services.
